Silver state
Almost a year since what was termed the tsunami that shook the nation, we are again faced with some turn of events that again, altered the course of history in our country.
Early in the year, we were in Perak courting schools to our financial education program that is funded by a known foreign bank in the country. Last week, we were in the silver state again to deliver the program to a residential school in the state. In a matter of that few weeks difference, the state administration seemd to have changed hands.
One minute we were meeting the school Deputy Principal in PR-led Perak and the next time round, we were delivering the program to their students in BN-led Perak. Woosh...just like that.
Can't recall if the school had hung pictures of the Menteri Besars on their office walls, like most other government funded shools...now it would be pretty challenging if they had to keep on changing pictures every other month, eh!
